About Us

Judith Hulson-Calvert was born and raised in South Wales (a very musical country!), U.K. At the tender age of 4, her preschool teacher suggested to her mother that she had a musical ear and should consider piano lessons.

Judith has also achieved Kindermusik Maestro for the past 6 years 2009-2015 meaning Musicrazy is in the Top 5% of Kindermusik Businesses worldwide.

Judith completed her Grade 8 piano and theory of Music with the Royal Schools of Music and was awarded Associate of the London College of Music in 1981. Judith also completed a BA in German and Modern Literature at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, U.K. in 1984.

Judith achieved Kindermusik Maestro 2009-2015 making Musicrazy in the Top 5% of Kindermusik Businesses worldwide.

Australia has been home for 30 years. For most of that time, Judith’s music remained a passionate hobby, while pursuing a career in Customer Service management, both private and government. Judith is now fulfilling her dream of having a music school, with the vision of creating musical learning opportunities on the Central Coast for people of all ages and abilities. Judith now lives in Mardi with her husband Eddie and dogs Sam and Patch.

Judith has also had the honour of being  Musical Director at Wyong Musical Theatre Company for Grease (2009), Peter Pan (2012) and Hair (2014) and is currently the President of our local orchestra, Symphony Central Coast  in which she plays violin. Judith was also the rock violinist with an all girl band called The Housework can Wait. “I love a wide range of music from punk rock to opera!”

“I have always believed that music feeds your brain, heart and soul and the earlier start, the better for your child. I chose Kindermusik as my early childhood music program, because it is simply the most well-respected in the world today. Kindermusik combines 35 years experience with up-to-date developmental research, ensuring the best experiences for little ones and their carers. I love the At Home Materials, which allow the continued learning at home between classes.

Encore on Keys is a fabulous Aussie piano/keyboard program, mirroring the same philosophies and vision of Kindermusik. It is the ideal start to instrument instruction and the next step up from Kindermusik. I love the CDs, which help the student understand how something should sound BEFORE they learn to play it and provides quality accompaniment post learning the songs.
